At the bottom, you can see the toolbar, however all(most?) of its functionality is available through a menu:
You can check the book information (title, author) by clicking appropriate icon (<icon image will be put here> :)) or by choosing "Book Info..." item in the menu:
Usually you start reading by opening your library:
Library contains all books that are found in the appropriate directories. By default, maemo version of FBReader looks for books in ~/MyDocs/Books and /media/mmc1/Books directories. However you might change this setting to suite your taste:
After you open a book, you can start reading.
At any moment, you can switch to the full screen mode by hitting hardware key "fullscreen":
You can always open the menu by using hardware key "menu":
