FBReaderJ 0.1 for Google Android is released (April 13, 2008).
This is first beta version of FBReader java port. This version includes binaries for Google Android only, but we plan to compile packages for J2ME devices (like Symbian mobile phones) and desktop computers. For more informations and/or downloads please visit FBReaderJ project page.

FBReader 0.8.16 is released (March 20, 2008).
Changes:
- Book tags support has been added. This feature allows to organising you library in a more convenient way. Full description of this feature is available in the “Documentation” section of our site.
- The standard Unicode algorithm for line breaking in now used for all languages (including Chinese). We use liblinebreak library written by Yongwei Wu.
- Fixed a bug with tapping scrolling/selection. If you prefer to have a selection feature unstead of scrolling by tab, please install the new version, then go to the Preferences Dialog, “Scrolling” tab, select “Tap Scrolling” for “Options For” and then “Disabled” for “Scrolling Mode”.
Important note for users who build own FBReader binaries: you should download and build liblinebreak separately. For Debian/Ubuntu systems, source and binary developer package are available from FBReader repository.
FBReader 0.8.15 is released (February 26, 2008).

- 'Go to page by number' feature has been added. In desktop version, this feature is assigned to 'G' key by default. In maemo version, it is available from menu.
FBReader 0.8.12 is released (January 19, 2008).

VBAtaxx 0.1 is released (January 16, 2008).
- Zlibrary is a cross-platform library written for FBReader. It is possible to write the apllication once for different Linux-based PDAs using this library. The sample zlibrary-based application is VBAtaxx, a clone of the well known Ataxx game. You can download VBAtaxx packages for Sharp Zaurus and for Nokia Internet Tablets 770/N800/N810. (Sources are available too.)
